
Gridbots autoTUG/OD is an autonomous robot which can move autonomously from one point to another both inside and outside the facilities with full autonomy These robots utilize high precision 3D Laser Scanner + Visual Camera based SLAM to ensure that they are moving on the pre-defined path and do not move away from the designated path. The robots are capable of real-time path planning and obstacle avoidance, They have pretty powerful computation system onboard which can perform all the computations in real-time and accurately.
The system comes with 4 layer safety mechanism which utilizes safety LIDAR as first sensor, 3D Camera as second sensor , Ultrasonic sensors (4x) as third sensor and physical bumper as fourth sensor to ensure that in no-case the robot touches anything but it goal point. The robots can run upto 8 hours with the on-board battery provided and can be upgraded in capacity if asked for. These robot can go for automatic charging and can also be configured with battery swapping option. The robots comes with manual and automatic latch for trolley/payload latching.
