Gridbots Glasso Floatscan is an integrated machine vision solution for online float glass inspection lines. It uses precise machine vision techniques to identify defects above 20 microns in real time on the glass sheets/ribbons of varying thicknesses from 1-20mm.
The system is capable of inspecting the glass sheets/ribbo in online and offline arrangements .The system can find open and close blisters, stones, scratches, tin defects, glass density variations, globs, bubble lines, dropping lines, dirt, sulphide particles and many other defects in the glass ribbons or sheets.
FLOAT GLASS INSPECTION SYSTEM
The system has automatic defect classification capabilities based on AI enabled classifiers which attain better accuracy over time. Our leading defects classification system gridEYE uses Deep Learning models based classification system to very precisely pin-point the defects at high speeds.The Inspection tolerance can be set using recipe based on defect type and size classification. User defined multiple recipes can be activated as per customer requirements in no time.
The complete system is IOT enabled and can report the status and its health to central monitoring system.The system has inbuilt self diagnostics and remote support system for minimum down time .
The system captures multiple images of glass at various angles and lighting condition to establish defects accurately and precisely.Our system significantly reduces chances of false errors and minimises flase alarms
As against line scan cameras, floatSCAN system uses area scan technology which provides much higher accuracy for defect detection and classification. The high intensity multispectral LED illuminator is in ON condition only for 2.5% of the time which reduces generated heat and provides the system a much longer life and stability.
The whole system is modular and can be used with varying widths of glass sheeets/ribbons, also the system is tolerant to varying glass thickness, transmission and color shades.
The system comes with optional defect marking system which can highlight these defects for later analysis using washable ink marking system.The control system GUI is highly intuitive with multiple language options apart from English.
