Gridbots Glasso Patternscan is an integrated machine vision solution for online patterned glass inspection. It uses state of art machine vision and artificial intelligence technology to identify defects above 100 microns in real time on the patterned glass.The system is capable to inspect ribbon glass directly on the annelaing lehr - before or after cutting.
The system can find open/close blisters, stones, scratches, tin, density variations, globs, bubble lines, dropping lines, dirt, sulphide particles and many other defects in the glass ribbons or sheets with high accuracy.

The system has automatic defect classification capabilities based on AI enabled classifiers which grow in accuracy over time. Gridbots has developed industry leading defects classification system using AI enabled Artificial Neural Network (NN) algorithm and machine vision setup utilising high end camera's and multispectral lights.The Inspection tolerance can be set using recipe selected by the user. Multiple recipes can be made for various types of customers and slected overtime.
The system is IOT enabled with self health diagnostics and real time alerts features.
The system takes multiple images of same area from various angles and lighting conditions to establish and classify defects accurately and precisely at a location.
All this is done in single pass of the glass ribbon . Our leading technology significantly reduces chances of false positive and flase negatives.
As against line scan cameras, Gridbots system uses area scan technology to identify and classify defects. This provides much higher accuracy of defect detection and classification. Due to use of Camera's Area Scan technology, the high intensity LED lighting used by Gridbots is in ON condition only for 2.5% of the time. This reduces heat related issues in current available systems with the light as lights are mostly in off condition and provides a much longer life and stability.
The system is modular and any glass width can be inspected by the system .The system is tolerant to varying glass thickness, transmission prperties and color variations. Other modules for stress and edge inspection can be added seamlessly to the defects inspection system if required. The system comes with optional defect marking system which can highlight these defects for later analysis on the ribbon surface using patch marking pens. The system's GUI is highly intuitive and has multiple language support on a single click .
The reports are generated in realtime for analysis and can be viewed online as well.
