JerkSIM

Single-Axis Jerk Platform

This is an industrial/research grade single-axis electromechanical jerk & shock platform that delivers high-amplitude acceleration pulses along one programmable linear axis - for shock testing, transient response studies, drop-test replication and component qualification.

A direct-drive electromechanical actuator generates peak acceleration up to 500 g for payloads up to 5 kg, over a programmable stroke of 0 - 100 mm and an operating frequency range up to 3 kHz.

The axis can be variably mounted - horizontal, inclined or vertical - so the same platform reproduces gravity-aligned or off-axis shock events on demand.

A closed-loop controller shapes the pulse in real time, synthesising classical shock waveforms (half-sine, sawtooth, trapezoid, square), random vibration and shock-response-spectrum profiles, with stroke and frequency commanded directly up to 3 kHz.
